WELCOME TO TRANSURBAN
The need to integrate urban transport and planning has always made sense. If land
development is scattered then expensive infrastructure needs to link it to the rest
of the city. It costs residents and workers time, fuel and money better spent on
more productive activity.
When there is less money around and the price of oil reflects a long anticipated
global scarcity in fuel, the need to integrate urban transport and land use becomes
even greater.
